Believe it

During my prayer time today a big logging flatbed truck pulled up right in front of my house. I was startled as I heard him release the air brakes. I could hear the rumble of the engine as it idled. I stood up and looked out the window of my studio. This is where I have been having my morning quiet time with the Lord. As I looked I became annoyed with this large loud truck interrupting my quiet morning. I began to pray that it would be moved. I sat down and tried to ignore it but the more I thought about it I wondered why this truck had decided to stop right in front of my house. I asked God what this truck was doing here. He said, it represents my promises being delivered. But as I stood up and looked at the truck again there was nothing on it. Just an empty flatbed. Then the Lord began to reveal some things to me. I understood that even when I can't see the promises he’s already delivered, that they are waiting for me. They are right in front of my house. They are there, waiting for me to receive them.

I asked the Lord, why can't I see the gifts/promises on the truck? If they have already been given and delivered to me, why can't I see them?

The Lord reminded me of the scripture, we walk by faith, not by sight. For it is by faith, which is of the heart, that we receive what he's already given to us. What's already been delivered. What's already waiting for us to receive.

And I heard the Lord say…

I am living inside of you. To guide you. To show you the things that I have prepared for you. This test inside the heart of man is God's plan. Everlasting love that I’ve covered you in. You hear my voice speak from within. I am giving you Holy Fire. Filling you with desire to approach my throne. You will own your home for I am on the throne. Receive the promises that I have already delivered to you. They are waiting for you to trust, and believe, and receive. Dare to believe my child and I will give you all that you need. For in your belief is a trust. Hold tight to the promises and words that I've spoken over your life. Do you see how large the truck is? It carries what I have sent you. Your barns will run over with the goodness my gifts.

I then began to see men around the truck. They, like the promises, were “invisible”. I could only see the outline of them. It was similar to what you see in movies when something is cloaked and hidden. You can still see the transparent outline of that thing.

I then asked, what am I seeing Lord?

You are seeing delivery men. Unloading, and preparing, and carrying the packages and invisible things that you cannot see from the truck.

There were many of them gathering packages from the sides and the top of the truck. I could sense them walking through my yard to come and deliver these things. These invisible men knew the exact location of the gifts they were delivering.

Then I heard the following…

So press in my son. Press in to the plans and purpose that I've given you. Understand that this time you live in. This time that I've ordained for your spiritual and financial gain. My helpers are delivering my promises and gifts to you. In this season, this holiday season I will keep you warm. I will keep you fed and healthy. Your storehouse will be full. Proceed. Don't give up. You will see the fullness of the things that I have promised you. It is in the waiting. In the inactivity. This push and pull struggle that you are in. This is where you are being developed. In the waiting is where you find me. Without faith it is impossible to please me. You are a spiritual being and I am your God. Your understanding of this world is incomplete. You must rely on me and I will show you these things. These deep and wonderful hidden truths. I'm taking you out of the old and into the new. For you can see the truth.

Jeff, go ahead and take it. The gifts that I've already sent you. Go ahead and take it. They are for you.

I asked how do I take it Lord? How do I receive it?

Ask, and you will receive. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be open.

How do I receive it Lord?

Believe it.
